Audi Pre Sense Lane Assist
Audi pre sense includes several lane-related features. Lane departure warning alerts when drifting without turn signal. Active lane assist provides steering correction to help maintain lane position. These features use the forward-facing camera to monitor lane markings.
Why Lane Assist May Be Off
Several conditions cause lane assist to show as off. Manual disable through MMI settings turns off the feature—it can be intentionally deactivated. Camera obstruction from dirt or weather causes temporary disable. Speed outside operating range prevents activation. System faults force the feature off with accompanying warnings.
Checking Feature Status
Use the MMI system to check lane assist status and settings. Navigate to the driver assistance settings to see if the feature is enabled. If enabled but showing off during driving, conditions or a fault is responsible.
Enabling Lane Assist
If manually disabled, re-enable through MMI > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Lane Assist. The feature should then show ready when conditions allow operation. If it remains off despite being enabled, troubleshoot for obstruction or faults.
